Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Right Design Studio LLC ("Right Design Studio," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your access to and use of Tablation, including tablation.com, app.tablation.com, and any workspace, view, or form published through them (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you're using the Service on behalf of an organization, you're agreeing on its behalf and confirming you have the authority to do so.

The Service is in beta

Tablation is under active development. Features may change, break, or be removed without notice, and we don't guarantee any particular level of uptime or availability during this beta period. We'll do our best to give notice of significant changes, but you should not rely on the Service for anything where an outage or data loss would be unacceptable without maintaining your own backups.

Accounts

You need an account to use most of the Service. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us right away at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access. You must provide accurate information when creating an account, and you must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

If you sign in with Google, you're also agreeing to Google's own terms governing your Google account, and you authorize us to receive the account information described in our Privacy Policy.

Workspaces and Customer Content

A "workspace" is the container your organization's tables, records, views, and files live in. Whoever creates a workspace, and the administrators they designate, control who can join it and what permissions each member has — Right Design Studio doesn't arbitrate workspace membership or internal permission disputes.

You retain all ownership rights to the data, files, and content you or your workspace store in the Service ("Customer Content"). You grant Right Design Studio a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display your Customer Content solely to provide and improve the Service — for example, rendering your views, running the automations you've configured, and syncing to Google Sheets when you've connected it. We don't claim ownership of your Customer Content, and we don't use it to train machine learning models.

You're responsible for having the right to store and process whatever you put into the Service, including any personal data about third parties (like your own customers or employees) that your workspace collects through published forms.

Google Sheets integration

If you connect Google Sheets, Tablation only requests access to the specific spreadsheet files you select through Tablation's file picker — never your entire Google Drive. You can disconnect this access at any time from your account settings or from your Google Account's permissions page. Your use of Google Sheets itself remains subject to Google's own terms of service.

Public forms and views

Workspace administrators can publish views and forms that are accessible without a Tablation account. If your workspace publishes a public form, you're responsible for what you collect through it and for complying with applicable law regarding that collection — including, where required, providing your own notice to respondents about how their submissions will be used within your workspace.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for anything illegal, or to store or transmit content that infringes someone else's rights, is defamatory, or is otherwise unlawful;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another workspace, account, or any part of the Service's infrastructure;
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including through excessive automated requests, scraping, or attempts to circumvent rate limits or access controls;
• Reverse-engineer the Service except to the extent applicable law expressly permits it; or
• Resell or provide the Service to third parties as your own hosted product without our written permission.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical.

Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers — currently Linode for hosting and storage, Resend for email delivery, and Google for sign-in and the optional Sheets integration. We're not responsible for outages, changes, or data handling by these providers beyond our reasonable control, though we'll work to minimize any impact on you.

Termination

You can stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time by emailing [email protected] — see our Privacy Policy for how that request is handled. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or, during this beta period, if we discontinue the Service or a workspace's use of it — where practical, we'll give you advance notice and a reasonable opportunity to export your data first.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Right Design Studio LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Right Design Studio LLC harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your Customer Content, your use of the Service in violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify account holders by email. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Arkansas, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
